April 1st 2020
Day 11
Its April, such a strange time.
Morning prayer is a constant at this time, I've started using my prayer journal ( which I bought in 2002) alongside our Church Army pattern Of prayer.
A busy day today, after some soya milk exploded in the pantry we had to clear it out. Clearly I have plenty of vinegar, I found some rice wine vinegar after I took the photo below! Worryingly we have a lot of alcohol and that doesn't include my Gin and wine!
After a lunch of homemade tomato soup we watched the latest vlog from church on Hebrews 10.
The challenge of the day was getting the kids to record a vlog on prayer for church, who would have thought it would cause a lot of hilarity!
Wednesday evenings are taken with the online twitter bible study I'm part of called Struggling Saints, @StrgI_St_ Bible, a Bible study led by a disabled christian, where we can discuss faith in the context of disability.
Tim, who is the lead, and I are looking at how to repeat some reflections we did on Holy Saturday a couple of years ago. It will be good to do something as I feel quite useless at home, I'm not allowed to work, or speak to collegues as I am off sick and I am not able to go out or have friends round either. That alongside wanting to be out helping and supporting those in need.
That said, clearly overdid it during the day as completely wiped out by 8.30 pm and in bed by 9 pm.
